Figures are derived from public U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics releases and are shown as published, including their known limits. Rankings are our transparent weighting of those figures, described in full on the methodology page.
We make no guarantee that any projection will hold, or that a listed wage reflects a specific job offer. Local conditions, experience, and negotiation all move real pay away from a national or regional median.
